Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a global, non-profit organisation for young people to develop leadership skills, meet inspiring people and make a real impact in local communities. When I was asked if I would like to deliver a Resilience Masterclass at the national AGM, the answer was a big YES. Always happy to support young leaders in developing their skills. The key message was looking after ourselves to be more resilient is something we do every day. Self care is not selfish, it’s how we ensure we can deal with what ever comes up and be at our best to look after those around us.
